'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda' moves to earlier timeslot as 'Maria Clara at Ibarra' returns on GMA Afternoon Prime
Beginning August 3, GMA Afternoon Prime is making an exciting change, with an earlier timeslot for "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" and the much-awaited return of the groundbreaking series, "Maria Clara at Ibarra."
The well-loved talk show hosted by the King of Talk, Boy Abunda, is moving to an earlier timeslot at 4:05 p.m. on GMA-7. Every afternoon, the program delivers not only revelations, but also real-life drama and stories straight from the celebrities and personalities.
With his wisdom and commanding presence, Tito Boy brings out the most candid conversations and genuine emotions from his guests, making "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" a part of viewers’ daily habit.
Meanwhile, the historical fantasy drama "Maria Clara at Ibarra" first aired on GMA Prime in 2022 and took Philippine television by storm. Inspired by Dr. Jose Rizal's novels, the hit series is headlined by Barbie Forteza, Julie Anne San Jose, David Licauco, and Dennis Trillo.
It follows the story of Klay (Barbie), a Gen Z nursing student who fails her Rizal Studies class, which she regards as irrelevant. Her professor gives her a chance to pass the subject and lends her a copy of Noli Me Tangere. Klay somehow finds herself transported into the world of Rizal’s novels and learns about Philippine history firsthand.
Avid fans can now relive the heartwarming lessons and Klay’s magical journey. Catch the rerun of "Maria Clara at Ibarra" every Monday to Friday at 4:30 p.m. on GMA-7.
Viewers can also stay inspired by the music and drama brought by "Born to Shine" every Monday to Saturday at 2:30 p.m., while "Kamao" fills the screens with touching familial stories and action-packed scenes, weekdays at 3:20 p.m.
With a lineup that informs, inspires, and entertains, GMA Afternoon Prime continues to deliver quality storytelling that resonates with every Kapuso.
