Will Ashley 'super excited' to work with Mika Salamanca in 'Delivery Boi'

Will Ashley is looking forward to working with Mika Salamanca on his upcoming comedy series, "Delivery Boi."

In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras Weekend," Will said he is excited for the first taping day with his close friend, who will give color and laughter to their scenes.

"Super excited because this is different from what have done before. So this is a new journey for the both of us," Will said in Filipino.

"I'm very excited. We really talk, so we truly prepare for the series," he added.

Mika and Will are both former housemates of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.0." Mika was hailed as the Big Winner along with her duo, Brent Manalo, while Will was the Second Big Placer along with his duo, Ralph De Leon.

They have recently been making netizens kilig with their song covers, travels, and cute photos together.

"Delivery Boi" is Will's first solo lead role. He underwent a riding seminar for it.

The cast is comprised of veteran and rising stars. Joining Will and Mika are Keempee De Leon, Meryl Soriano, Eric Quizon, Vince Maristela, Mikoy Morales, Yasser Marta, and Maricar De Mesa.

"It's one of the things that made the job feel lighter because they've gone through this genre," the Kapuso actor said. "They teach me a lot and I learn a lot of lessons from them.")

Will added that his character Boi is true to life, a delivery rider who will do everything for his family. —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
