On Dingdong Dantes' birthday, Ruru Madrid thanks 'idol' for guidance and advice

If there is one person in the showbiz industry whom Ruru Madrid looks up to, it's Dingdong Dantes.

On Instagram, the Kapuso Primetime Action Hero dedicated a birthday post to Dingdong, sharing a photo of the two of them together during an archery practice session.

“Maligayang kaarawan sa isang taong sobra kong iniidolo hindi lamang sa larangan ng pag-arte kundi sa pagiging tao,” Ruru wrote.

Happy birthday to the one person I truly look up to, not only in the craft of acting but in being a good person," Ruru said in Filipino.

"Salamat sa lahat ng mga payo at gabay mo, kuya! (Thank you for all the advice and guidance)." he added.

The Kapuso Primetime King celebrated his 46th birthday with his wife, Marian Rivera in Los Angeles, California, where the caught a screening of “The Odyssey” at the TCL Chinese Theatre.

Dingdong currently headlines the GMA Prime series "The Master Cutter," which also stars Max Collins, Paolo Contis, Jo Berry, Charlie Fleming, and Anthony Constantino.

It airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after “24 Oras.” It is also streaming on Netflix.
