Kara David happy to see late Cesar Apolinario's daughter working as GMA intern

Kara David couldn't be happier to see the daughter of the late broadcast journalist Cesar Apolinario, who she took on as a scholar, working as an intern with GMA Public Affairs.

On Facebook, Kara shared a selfie with Athena Apolinario, who was a scholar along with her siblings under the Project Malasakit Foundation throughout their high school and early college years.

“Happy to see my former scholar Athena Apolinario, now working as an intern for GMA Public Affairs,” Kara wrote in her caption.

Athena is one of the children of Cesar, the respected GMA News journalist who passed away in December 2019 at the age of 46.

Shortly after his passing, Kara said Cesar was the breadwinner of his family was working for the future of his three children, who were all honor students.

"Ngayong wala na siya... tayo naman ang magmalasakit kay Cesar. Ipagpatuloy natin ang pangarap ni Cesar sa kanyang mga anak," Kara said.

Athena is currently pursuing a Communications degree at the University of Santo Tomas.
