“Pinoy Big Brother” is set to welcome a new batch of housemates as “Pinoy Big Brother Collab 3.0” opens auditions to regular Filipinos around the world.

Hosts Gabbi Garcia and Bianca Gonzalez, along with Kim Chiu, made the announcement on Friday’s “It’s Showtime.”

Unlike the first two Collab seasons, which featured celebrity housemates, the upcoming season will give ordinary Filipinos a chance to enter Kuya’s iconic house.

Auditions are open to all Filipinos worldwide who are 18 to 35 years old.

Interested applicants must upload a one-minute video introducing their name, age, and location, and explaining why they deserve to become a “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate.

The audition period is open until August 31.

In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras" Friday, "PBB" hosts Gabbi Garcia and Bianca Gonzalez expressed their excitement for the upcoming season.

"This is my first time experiencing a regular season where ordinary Filipinos will be joining, and I’m excited for the twists and revelations. It’s different with regular housemates because they’re unfiltered," said Gabbi.

Bianca, for her part, said that one of the things they're looking forward to is the new "PBB" house.

"We all said goodbye to the iconic house that we’ve had for 21 years, so we still don’t know what it will look like or where it will be," she said.

Meanwhile, former "PBB housemates" Will Ashley, Mika Salamanca, and Lella Ford shared some tips for those who want to enter Kuya's House.

"Just be yourself. Don’t create a story that isn’t true, and don’t lie. Just be yourself. Tell your life story, so you can stay consistent," said Will.

Mika also advised future "PBB" housemates to enjoy their time inside the house and not think too much about what's happening in the outside world.

"Don’t plan everything you’re going to do because it will make things difficult for you. The public will see through it, and Kuya will make things harder for you. You need to be genuine," she said.

Lella also emphasized the importance of choosing to be good every day.

Brent Manalo and Mika , who were both present on "It's Showtime" Friday, were hailed the first-ever Big Winner duo of the inaugural “PBB Celebrity Collab Edition.”

In February, Caprice Cayetano and Lella Ford emerged as the Big Winners of “PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.”

Former celebrity housemates including Joaquin Arce and Klarisse de Guzman accompanied Gabbi and Bianca to make the much-awaited announcement.
