Kim Chiu attends sister's arraignment at QC Hall of Justice

Kim Chiu arrived at the Quezon City Hall of Justice on Thursday for the arraignment of her sister.

According to the Today’s Talk segment on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” Thursday, Kim was accompanied by Star Magic Head Laurenti Dyogi.

Her sister's arraignment is in relation to the 124 counts of qualified theft filed against her by Kim.

Abunda said that according to an investigation by the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office, Kim's sister allegedly took P44 million from the company through unauthorized withdrawals.

Previously, Kim’s lawyer Atty. Margrein Archernar M. Gregana said that the case is not a personal matter between the sisters, but a step taken by the company The House of LittleBunny Philippines, Inc (HOLB), in which Kim is a shareholder.

Kim's sister was arrested Sunday afternoon in Mandaluyong City on an arrest warrant for 124 counts of qualified theft.

In December 2025, the “It’s Showtime” host filed a qualified theft complaint against her sister after discovering “serious financial discrepancies” amounting to P44 million in her business.

"Unfortunately, substantial amounts connected to my business assets were found missing. These discoveries forced me to take formal action to protect not just my company, but also the livelihoods of the people who work with me and the integrity of everything I have built," she said.
