Baron Geisler files perjury raps vs Yayo Aguila

MANILA, Philippines - Controversial young actor Baron Geisler has filed a perjury case against actress Yayo Aguila, alleging that she lied in the sworn statement she submitted to the Justice department regarding his acts of lasciviousness case. Teresa Taves of dzBB on Friday reported that Geisler’s camp is confident that the court will decide in their favor. A lawyer for the Aguila family, however, dismissed the perjury case as ridiculous and said Yayo was only narrating what her daughter told her. Geisler is currently facing acts of lasciviousness charges filed by Patrizha Maree Martinez, daughter of Aguila and actor William Martinez. The young Martinez accused Geisler of fondling her and trying to lure her into having sex with him at Fiamma Bar on Jupiter Street in Makati City last April 25, 2008. She said Geisler was drunk at the time of the incident. The victim is asking for P5 million in damages from Geisler. Geisler responded to the complaint by lodging a counter-suit of unjust vexation against Patrizha, saying in his affidavit that the complaints hurled against him were baseless and meant to malign him. - GMANews.TV
