Dranreb Belleza faces another battle: cancer

Former-actor-turned-painter Dranreb Belleza will hold an art exhibit in order to raise funds to support his battle against another ailment - cancer. A report on Showbiz Central revealed that Belleza, who was diagnosed to have prostate cancer, would have to sell his paintings to raise money for his treatment abroad. "On September 8 may fund raising ako para makapunta ako sa ibang bansa para magpagaling," Belleza said. The fund raising activity would be held at Cubao X in Quezon City. "Punta lang ako [abroad] for other opinion ‘tsaka yung insurance ko sa America libre. Kaya mas makakabuti kung doon muna ako," he added. Belleza said the exhibit will feature his old and new art works. The event would also showcase his personal collections, like the works of popular painters who were honored in the Thirteen Artists Awards, Belleza said. Last year, Belleza came back to the Philippines after his medication in the US for bone ailment. - GMANews.TV
