TV ratings: Eat Bulaga! and Luna Mystika lead pack

Eat Bulaga! and Luna Mystika firmly held their top positions from January 12 to 16 to rule the daytime and primetime race, respectively. The same goes to Saan Darating ang Umaga? and Lalola, both shows consistently holding on to second place. It should also be noted that Dyosa, an ABS-CBN fantaserye top billed by Anne Curtis, ended its run last Friday (Jan. 16) at No. 6 with 26.2 percent. It will be replaced by the powerhouse-cast drama Tayong Dalawa, which premiered Monday tonight. Wowowee slightly edged out perennial toprater Eat Bulaga! last Saturday, January 17, to lead the daytime race. Wowowee posted a rating of 22 percent while Eat Bulaga! got 21.8 percent to take the second spot. Primetime race was ruled by Imbestigador with 33.9 percent; followed by Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (32.4 percent) and Bitoy's Funniest Videos (28.6 percent). ASAP '08 grabbed the lead back from rival SOP last Sunday, January 18. The Kapamilya musical-variety show generated a rating of 14.8 percent compared to the Kapuso network's 13.7 percent, which is good for No. 3. Showbiz Central took the second spot with 14.5 percent. Finally, Kap's Amazing Stories topped the primetime race with 26.5 percent. It was followed by Family Feud with 26.4 percent and Mel & Joey with 25.1 percent.
