PEP: GMA backs Katrina Halili in 'Hayden cam' case
MANILA, Philippines â What was initially perceived as a nightmare is now turning out to be a promising beginning for Katrina Halili. A few days after Hayden Koh's sex videos proliferated in cyberspace and pirated DVD market, the 23-year-old â who was featured in one of the videos â generated mixed reactions from the public. Some looked at her with scorn. Majority showered her with sympathy and support. The battle now will not solely be hers as several people and organizations had already expressed their intent to help. Even GMA Network had come rushing to Katrina's defense. In a statement received by PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) today, May 22, at 5:00 p.m., the Kapuso network stated that the StarStruck alumna has the management's support. The statement read: "GMA Network supports Ms. Katrina Halili in her fight for justice. The network is confident that she will emerge from this episode a better, stronger person. "GMA continues to trust her as an artist and awaits her return to the projects lined up for her." - Elyas Isabelo Salanga, PEP.ph
