Actress-cager affair: Maricar de Mesa marries Don Allado

Actress Maricar De Mesa and Talk 'n' Text forward-center Don Allado got married on Friday, Dec. 1, after four years of friendship, according to the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP - www.pep.ph). The wedding took place at the Our Lady of Consolation Parish in Tandang Sora, Quezon City. In separate interview with PEP, the couple said they weren't even physically attracted to each other when they first met in September 2002. “We met through his uncle and my very good friend, Nani. Sila nag-introduce sa amin," De Mesa told PEP. "Alam niya talaga, I didn’t like him. Hindi rin niya ako type [chuckles]." Don confirmed this: “I told her she was an attractive, lady but I wasn’t attracted to her. We were able to just talk on the phone for hours. We had interesting conversations about anything like basketball, politics... or just hanging out at the mall. We never run out of anything to talk about. We’re on the same wavelength.
