Vic finds Pia's parents 'cool'

Vic Sotto has already met girlfriend Pia Guanio's parents, and he found them very friendly, according to the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP). "Yung parents ni Pia, they're such cool people," Sotto said. "Parang si Pia. Alam ko na kung saan nag-mana 'to, eh. [Yung'] pagka-friendly [at] pagka-likable. Yung magulang niya madaling kausap. Very nice." ["Pia's parents are such cool people. Like Pia. Now I know where she got her being friendly and likable. Her parents are so easy to talk to. Very nice."] Sotto talked openly about his relationship with Guanio in the Dec. 17 episode of GMA's S Files, in which Guanio is also a co-host. He denied rumors that he and Guanio have set a 2008 wedding date. "Saan naman nanggaling yang 2008? Di naman ganun kadali yun, although there are time when we talk about it," he said. Sotto has said that Guanio may be the last woman in his life, adding that she's in good terms Danica and Oyoboy, his children with ex-wife Dina Bonnevie. In the same S Files episode, Guanio confirmed this, saying: "We're more or less good friends. I just want to be a good friend to them. I just want to be able to help. I don't want to be putting labels into people and on relartionships. Basta, I'm here for them no matter what happens. Cia [Ciara Sotto, Sotto's niece and Eat Bulaga! co-host], iI've bee friends with her ever since. I don't want to be affected no matter what happens."
