Reel Time goes behind the scenes of Eat Bulaga's 'Juan for All, All for Juan'
Not even the searing noontime heat can stop the intrepid hosts of the "Eat Bulaga" segment, "Juan for All, All for Juan: Sugod-Bahay sa Barangay" from doing their job. In an episode that aired last February 19, the GMA News TV documentary program "Reel Time" went behind the scenes of this popular segment of TV's longest-running noontime show.
Barangays in the Philippines eagerly look forward to the day when "Juan for All, All for Juan" visits their community. Barangay captain Jun Ramos said he’s happy that his barangay was chosen for the Eat Bulaga segment.
The hosts of "Juan for All, All for Juan" make sure that they are prepared every time they visit a barangay. Halos ganito ang kinalakihan kong lugar,” said Wally Bayola.
The segment’s hosts crack jokes and tell funny stories to keep spirits up. Pauleen Luna said it helps that they’re all friends in real life. “Lumalabas siya talaga sa TV. Walang ilangan,” she said.
It also helps that other "Eat Bulaga" hosts like Vic Sotto are easy to work with.
“The name of the game is spontaneous,” added host Paolo Ballesteros.
Jose added that the professionalism of "Eat Bulaga’s" long-time hosts Tito, Vic, and Joey help them do their jobs well. - Isa Lorenzo/CM, GMA News Online "Reel Time" is a documentary program that airs Sundays at 8:45 PM on GMA News TV Channel 11.
