Angel-Oyo breakup didn't shock Vic Sotto

Vic Sotto doesn't consider the breakup between son Oyo Boy Sotto and Angel Locsin as a "shocker," according to the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP). "Wala naman yon," the elder Sotto told PEP's Allan Diones. "Sa akin, hindi shocker yon. That's normal. Minsan, hindi kayo nagkakaintindihan. Minsan, hindi nagkakatuluyan. It's no big deal for me." Sotto talked about the breakup during a victory party for Enteng Kabisote 3 at Virgin Cafe on January 2. But Sotto admitted feeling disappointed at the breakup, because Locsin has always been close to his family. Locsin was the girlfriend of Miko Sotto, a cousin of Oyo Boy. Miko died on Dec. 29, 2003. Two years later, on Feb. 13, 2005, Locsin became Oyo Boy's girlfriend. "Yeah, nanghihinayang because she's a nice girl," Sotto said. "Pero kung ano man yung problema nila, I'm sure it will have a happy ending, kung magkatuluyan mo sila o hindi. Nakita ko naman ang friendship nila, so I'm very positive sa kung ano man ang mangyayari sa kinabukasan." Locsin confirmed the breakup to StarTalk host Butch Francisco during her launch as celebrity endorser for the Belo Medical Group on December 28. - GMANews.TV
