Little Monsters go Gaga on Twitter over Manila concert 

The Mother Monster is back in Manila and the little monsters have come together to party.

 

Lady Gaga, a.k.a. Mother Monster to her fans, has just concluded the first of her two-night concert in the newly built SM Mall of Asia Arena. She is the first performer to strut its stage, where she will be performing again Tuesday night.

 

The two-night affair is her third world tour, featuring songs from her second studio album, Born This Way.

 

Filipino little monsters marched to the Smart Araneta Coliseum the first time she came here in August 2009. But no one protested against the Lady Gaga concert that was then part of her Fame Ball tour.

 

And how times have changed. It is 2012 and critics and protesters from both the local government and Christian groups have been airing their concern over Lady Gaga songs, particularly "Judas," which she claimed is a metaphor to loving someone despite having been unfaithful or betrayed by that person.

 

But this did not stop fans from paying a fortune to see Mother Monster do her thing onstage, and from turning Twitterverse into a Gaga-fest. —DMV/VS, GMA News
