After losing house in fire, Chin-Chin loses Mom

Three weeks after losing her house to a predawn fire, actress-environmentalist Chin-Chin Gutierrez suffered another loss after her mother Cecilia died Friday night, Jan. 12. QTV-11 television reported Saturday noon that Mrs. Gutierrez died at the Medical City hospital in Pasig City where she and Chin-Chin were rushed after a fire destroyed their house at Loyola Heights in Quezon City Dec. 20. She had been bedridden for more than two years and suffering from diabetes. She had been hooked to dextrose and oxygen units inside the house when it was destroyed last December.
