'Call Me Maybe' Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen arrives in Manila

Canadian pop star Carly Rae Jepsen, the artist behind the hit "Call Me Maybe," arrived in the Philippines Monday night for her concert in Manila this week.

 

Jepsen arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport past 11 p.m. Monday, according to a report on "Saksi."

 

Hours before her flight to Manila, Jepsen had tweeted she was heading for Manila.

Shortly after her arrival, Jepsen retweeted several messages from fans who welcomed her to the Philippines.

 

Jepsen, who also popularized the song "This Kiss," is to hold her concert in Manila for the first time. 

 

Her concert is scheduled at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday. —KG, GMA News
