Dingdong and Marian lead GMA Kapuso Foundation’s Celebrity Ukay-Ukay

As the new faces of GMA Kapuso Foundation’s (GMAKF) Celebrity Ukay-Ukay, Kapuso royal couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera graced the jam-packed opening of Noel Bazaar last November 22 at the World Trade Center.
 
Noel Bazaar has featured this annual Christmas project of GMAKF since 2011.
 
Dingdong and Marian were joined by GMAKF EVP and COO Mel C. Tiangco, Cut Unlimited President Mayose Bautista, Manila Exposition Comex President Rommel Leuterio, Foreign Post President Eufemia Villano, Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines President Jose Luis Yulo, Bantayog ng mga Bayani Foundation Executive Director Nievelena Rosete, and Ms. Tessa Prieto-Valdes in welcoming the guests and eager fans during the kick-off event. La Diva’s Maricis Garcia serenaded the audience, while Kapuso actress Bettina Carlos hosted the program.
 
“We are proud to have Dingdong and Marian as the new advocates of the Celebrity Ukay-Ukay. We thank them for their generosity and support in our desire to further the various goals of the Foundation,” shared Tiangco.
 
Taking time off from their busy showbiz schedules, the Kapuso Network’s primetime King and Queen excitedly lead this year’s celebrity bazaar, which aims to raise funds for long-running projects of the Foundation namely the Kapuso School Development Project, Unang Hakbang sa Kinabukasan, and Give a Gift: Alay sa Batang Pinoy.
 
Aside from Dingdong and Marian, other Kapuso stars also donated pre-owned items for the Celebrity Ukay-Ukay namely Regine Velasquez, Heart Evangelista, Jennylyn Mercado, Glaiza de Castro, Jolina Magdangal, Jaya, Eugene Domingo, Camille Prats, LJ Reyes, Andrea Torres, Bettina Carlos, Charice Solomon, Joyce Ching, Chris Tiu, Gabby Eigenmann, Carlos Concepcion, Butch Francisco, Lolit Solis, Nomer Limatog, Miggy Jimenez and Manny Paquiao.
 
Ms. Mel Tiangco together with other News and Public Affairs personalities, Ms. Winnie Monsod, Nelson Canlas, Pia Guanio and Family, Lala Roque, Ivan Mayrina, Mariz Umali, Raffy Tima, Sandra Aguinaldo, Kara David, Tina Panganiban Perez, Sherry Ann Torres, JP Soriano, Pia Arcangel, Connie Sison, Suzi Abrera, Rhea Santos, Lyn Ching, Olen Lim, Monica Verallo and Atty. Gabby Concepcion likewise donated items for the bazaar.
 
Senator Chiz Escudero also contributed some items this year.
