Paggulpi kay Vhong Navarro, kinondena ng mga samahan sa industriya ng showbiz

Nagpakita ng suporta kay Vhong Navarro ang industriya ng show business sa pamamagitan ng pagpapalabas ng manipesto na nagkokondena sa ginawang pananakit sa TV host-actor.

Sa artikulong isinulat ni Arniel C. Serato na lumabas sa showbiz news website na PEP.Ph nitong Miyerkules, sinabing nakasaad din sa sulat na pirmado ng lahat ng mga organisasyon sa showbiz ang pagtuligsa sa grupo nina Cedric Lee at Deniece Cornejo dahil sa ginawang pananakit kay Vhong na hanggang ngayon ay nagpapagaling sa ospital dahil sa tinamong bugbog.

Nauna nang sinabi ng kampo ni Cedric na nabugbog nila si Vhong dahil tinangka nitong gahasain si Deniece sa tinutuluyang condo unit ng dalaga sa Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Pero itinanggi ni Vhong ang paratang at sinampahan ng mga kaso ang grupo nina Cedric at Deniece.  Reklamong rape naman ang isinampa ni Deniece sa aktor.

Sa sulat na pirmado ng mga itinuturing haligi ng industriya ng showbiz, sinabi nilang suportado nila ang hakbang ni Vhong na makamtan ang hustisya laban sa mga nanakit sa kaniya.



Hinikayat din nila ang mga namumuno ng mga ahensiya ng gobyerno na kumilos upang mabigyan ng tuldok ang mga karahasan at upang matigil na ang hindi makataong gawain.

“On January 24, 2014 the entire Philippine entertainment industry was shocked to learn of the horrible incident involving TV host-actor Vhong Navarro.

“No one has any right to inflict torture on anyone regardless of his economic or social standing in society. Let the law prevail, let the court decide.

“In view of this, the undersigned leaders and officers representing the various sectors of the Philippine entertainment industry, unilaterally regret and denounce the brutal attack against our colleague, Mr. Navarro.

“We likewise express full support in his plea for justice.

“We fervently urge the concerned government agen­cies to put an end to the thriving culture of violence and impunity and diminishing sense of humanity in our country.”
