Deniece Cornejo: No malice in kisses caught on camera 

There was no malice in the kisses that Cedric Lee gave Deniece Cornejo, closed-circuit television footage of which was presented as evidence in complaints against them, Cornejo said Saturday.

 

In a report on GMA's “24-Oras” on Saturday, Cornejo said she just thanked Lee and her other friends who helped her after she was allegedly raped by actor-comedian Vhong Navarro. 

 

In the video, two men and a woman entered the elevator followed by Cornejo and Lee. Lee appeared to have immediately kissed Cornejo on both cheeks.
 

The CCTV footage was part of the newest evidence presented to the Department of Justice by Navarro's camp. The incident caught in the video is said to have occurred after the mauling of Navarro on the night of January 22.

 

Meanwhile, Cornejo's camp will file a motion for reconsideration for their petition of a temporary restraining order and gag order against Navarro

Their earlier requests were dismissed by the Taguig City Regional Trial Court for lack of merit, the report said. — Andrei Medina/JDS, GMA News
