Mark Anthony Fernandez following the footsteps of 'Daboy'

Aside from good looks, Mark Anthony Fernandez inherited a lot from his late father Rudy Fernandez, who we all know as “Daboy.” Both possess qualities of being a family man, passionate in showbiz, and a good heart, just to name a few.  
 
As the eldest son, Mark Anthony has seen so much in Daboy’s life. Today, how is Mark following the footsteps of his father?
 
Both father and son are helpful and generous to their fellow actors and fans. There are many stories that could attest these qualities of theirs. Many might not know that Mark is very close with half-brothers Renz and Ralph Fernandez. They strive to learn from each other and be there for each other at all times.
 
Mark describes himself as a hopeless romantic. Similar to his father, he is also considered a sensitive actor as seen in Bukod Kang Pinagpala and his current role in  Rhodora X. It is through his mother Alma Moreno that he learned how to be careful when falling in love. 
 
His dad being an action star, Mark still hopes to be given a project that would showcase his love for the action genre. He wants to be given a Rambo-like story and firmly believes he could still make action work.
 
To this day, Daboy continues to be an inspiration to many of his fans. That certainly has been the case for Mark. His relationship with his father proved to have an enormous impact to the kind of man he has become. Today, he remains to be a stage dad to his son Cameron just like when he was guided by Daboy growing up. 
 
It is a true testament that the connection a man has with his father shapes his life. Without a doubt, Daboy is smiling from above as he sees his son continue his passion. As directors say ‘cut’ or ‘roll camera,’ life goes on.
