Richard Gutierrez, Sarah Lahbati, talking about marriage

After his televised admission last Sunday that he and girlfriend Sarah Lahbati had a child, GMA Kapuso actor Richard Gutierrez said he and Sarah were now discussing marriage, though there were no firm plans yet. “One major step at a time. Kakabalik lang ni Sarah sa showbiz and we're all very busy, but that's [marriage] not far in the horizon,” Richard said in a report on GMA News' “24 Oras” Monday evening. Richard and Sarah became a couple in 2012. In January of 2013 Sarah abruptly left the country for Switzerland at the height of her showbiz career, prompting speculation that she was pregnant. But both Richard and Sarah, as well as their families, had refused to comment on the matter. “We wanted to keep our privacy. We didn't want our personal lives to be like a media circus at that time, so, there was a lot of pressure,” Richard said during his admission last Sunday on the pilot episode of the Gutierrez family's reality show "It Takes GUTZ To Be A Gutierrez", aired on cable channel E! “I always told people that I will admit at the right time. But you know what, during those times, I really wanted to tell people already,” Richard added. Meanwhile, in her Instagram account, Sarah said they had never denied their child, Baby Zion. “Once and for all, I do not care about the hate tweets and all the 'poor baby bakit ganito, ganyan'. I just want to make it clear to you that from DAY ONE, we took care of him, loved him, protected him and gave him everything, until now.
