Alden Richards kahit nasa ibang propesyon: 'I would still be an actor by heart'

 
The journey to success is different for each person. This has been proven by many people, including Kapuso heartthrob Alden Richards.
 
He didn’t make it through the final call of auditions in various reality shows and talent searches but he emerges as one of the most promising actors of today.
 
Before he scored leading roles in soap operas, he was rejected several times, he doubted the path he is taking and he almost chose to entirely abandon his hopes of being in show business.

However, one call changed everything and affirmed that show business is where he should be.
 
Today, he admits to have fallen in love with the industry that once closed its doors on him. He knows that this love isn’t transient. He knows that he would work his way into staying the longest as he can.
 
“Ten years from now, gusto ko pa ring umarte. Kung hindi man po sa telebisyon, umaarte po [siguro] ako sa teatro o sa pelikula o sa mga indie film. Ganun ko po kamahal 'yung trabaho ko ngayon,” he said.
 
To contribute to his longevity in the business, he strives to bring something new to the table and show that there are many sides to him. In fact, he is set to co-host the reality talent search Bet ng Bayan beginning this September.
 
With the ever changing times, he knows that this being in showbiz is something that he wants to remain a constant. If life brings him to another place, he knows that what he’s doing now will always hold a special place in him.
 
“Kahit siguro meron akong ibang profession, I would still be an actor by heart,” he declared.
