Ai-Ai battles the bulge, undergoes costly lipo

Long curly hair, plunging tanned neckline, and a sultry stare to boot—that's the new Ai-Ai delas Alas in the newest Belo Medical Group billboard to tower on the busy street of EDSA-Guadalupe. The Comedy Concert Queen is not afraid to show off her new body, courtesy of Belo's Smart Lipo. She underwent the fat reduction procedure on her upper and lower abdomen, arms, and back. Each area costing a whopping P35,000! "Gusto ko talaga [magpa-lipo] kasi nakukunsumi ako pag nagbibihis ako, tapos ang taba-taba ko. Lahat ng bilbil ko [kita]... Hindi ka makapagsuot ng fit!" explained Ai-Ai. The comedienne underwent two liposuction procedures, but unhealthy eating didn't keep the weight off. She said that her new figure is inspiring her to live a healthier lifestyle now. She noted, "Sobrang workout ako talaga. Kasi, di ba, parang nakakahiya naman na parang sa billboard ang sexy mo tapos dito [in person ang taba mo! Kaya talagang tinotodo ko ang work out ko para sabihin nila na, ‘Ay payat pala talaga siya.'" Belo Clinic's proprietor, Dr. Vicki Belo, seemed to be pleased with the results. "I think this is the best you've looked since I met you [Ai-Ai], di ba? And she's 42 years old. It should inspire other women na 40 and above na this is the time to take charge of your life. Sa second part of your life, you should look gorgeous!" said the doctor to the stars. Ai-Ai now measures 36½-28-37½! She has been getting a lot of compliments because of her ad. Some would even go on to compare her to Beyonce Knowles! What's next for Ai-Ai? Will we be seeing her on the cover of men's magazines like hot moms Pops Fernandez and Dina Bonnevie? "Pang-Belo lang ako!" she answered. "Ayoko ng mga magazine. Ayaw ng anak ko ng ganoon. Ito kasing billboard may purpose, e. ‘Yon kasi para pangbilad lang. Sabi niya, ‘Ma, hindi ka na masyadong bagets. Wag ka nang mag-ganyan.'" She added, "Sumusunod naman ako. Unang una, anak ko iyon. Pangalawa, lalaki si Sancho [her 15-year-old son], e. Alam niya kung anong tama at mali para sa isang girl kaya sabi niya, tigilan ko na ‘yong mga ganoon... Siyempre naman kasi sila ang nagbabasa nun, no! Tapos makikita mo nanay mo nandoon!
