Former senator Tito Sotto and Helen Gamboa's daughter, Lala Sotto, came in defense of her parents regarding the news that the couple had separated because of Tito's infidelity. In a text message Lala sent to Startalk last Saturday, June 2, she disclaimed all the malicious rumors and assured both the public and the press that her parents' marriage remains intact and on solid ground. Accusations against Tito state that the comedian-turned-politician was allegedly carrying an affair with singer Zsa Zsa Padilla, aside from the fact that he was also keeping a love child with another woman. Zsa Zsa in a statement bashed the report by saying that she hasn't seen Tito for about two years, so the possibility of an affair was both laughable and ridiculous. Lala also denounces the rumor that sister, Ciara Sotto, is pregnant courtesy of her non-showbiz boyfriend and is in hiding from the prying eyes of the press. "Ciara and my Mom are in the States because Ciara has a project there and not because she's hiding something. My sister is not pregnant," said Lala.
