Marjorie wants 14-year marriage to Dennis annulled

Actress and Caloocan City councilor-elect Marjorie Barretto finally decided to end her 14-year marriage with comedian and former councilor Dennis Padilla, whose real name is Dennis Esteban D. Baldivia. Barretto, through her lawyer Ellen D. Veza, filed for the annulment of her wedding with Padilla, Tuesday afternoon at the Quezon City Regional Trial Court, docketed as Civil Case No. Q-07-60531. Personnel at the Office of the Clerk of Court, however, refused to furnish copy of the petition due to the confidentiality of the contents of the case. Veza, in a text message sent to GMANews.TV on Wednesday, confirmed that Barretto is her client. She however refused to discuss the details of the case without permission from Barretto. “I’m trying to reach my client but she’s not picking up. I hope you understand, I can’t say anything without her permission." - GMANews.TV
