Melissa Mendez wants daughter Denisse Oca to enter showbiz

 
Actress Melissa Mendez expressed on Walang Tulugan that she wants Denisse Oca or any of her children to join show business.
 
“Gusto ko naman na meron akong anak na sumunod sa aking mga yapak,” she told Walang Tulugan last Saturday.
 
She has been in the industry for 32 years and said that it would be great to have her child or children experience the same joy and fulfillment that she has.
 
“If you love your job, you don’t feel like you’re working… It’s my passion,” she added.
 
It’s for that reason that she also wants to continue being an actress. As she had given much of herself to her career, she hopes to be given more opportunities to contribute to the industry that she loves.
 
“Sana magkaroon na din ako ng bagong projects kasi siyempre ako 'yung provider sa family namin. I’m a single mom and you know, masarap kasi na nasa business ka kung saan dun ka na tumanda… Marami na kong naging experiences dito,” she shared.
 
In her over three decades of being a celebrity, she can claim that she has never become a burden to the people she has gotten to work with.
 
“Never ako naging pasaway or naging problema sa mga production staff na nakasama ko… Never ako naging sakit ng ulo,” she declared.
 
Because of her sheer love for the business, she hopes to stay in it so much longer. “Ito na 'yung buhay ko, ito na 'yung ikinabuhay ko sa mga anak ko so hopefully, ito na rin ikamatay ko, ang pagiging artista,” she concluded. -- MARY LOUISE LIGUNAS, GMANetwork.com
