American band Lifehouse set for third PHL concert on October 8

Famous American rock band Lifehouse is set to hold their third concert in the Philippines on October 8 at the Mall of Asia Arena, promoters said on Wednesday.

The one-night concert marks the band's third visit to the Philippines after successful nights of music in July 2008 and June 2012. It will be produced by BoardWorks Media in association with Midas Promotions.

The four-man group—Jason Wade (vocals, guitar), Rick Woolstenhulme Jr. (drums), Bryce Soderberg (bass), and Ben Carey (guitar)—broke into the big-time in 2001 following the release of their debut album “No Name Face.” Their hit songs include “Everything,” “You and Me,” and “Hanging by A Moment,” which beat out Janet Jackson and Alicia Keys for Billboard's No. 1 single of the year.

In 2015, the rock band ended their hiatus with “Out of the Wasteland,” their seventh album. Debuting at No. 1 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart last May, it has surprised fans with its indie vibe.
