‘Dessert’ singer Dawin wants dance-off with Lola Nidora

The American singer and rapper Dawin, best known for the 2015 hit single 'Dessert' which garnered around 30 million views on YouTube, has finally watched an episode of the phenomenal Kalyeserye, and who else would catch his attention the most than the dancing Lola Nidora?

 

'Dessert' has been a regular part of Kalyeserye as Lola Nidora's dance theme song, much like Lola Tinidora's 'Mambo No. 5' and Yaya Dub's 'Fantastic Baby.'

 

On Wednesday, Dawin said on Twitter, “After watching #Kalyeserye, I would like to have a dance-off with the great @AKOSiLOLANiDORA”

 

Yesterday, the American rapper sent his first regards to AlDub Nation and Eat Bulaga via Twitter. 
 

 

 

 

This is not the first time that an international personality took notice of Kalyeserye, starring Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza a.k.a. Yaya Dub, as well as the Kalye's Angels-- Lola Nidora, Tidora, and Tinidora played by Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, and Jose Manalo, respectively.

 

Earlier in September, American country music artist Bryan White, singer of the AlDub theme song 'God Gave Me You,' promised a concert in Manila this December following the popularity of his song because of the national entertainment phenomenon. 
 

The upcoming concert will be at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on December 1. 

 

Even Taiwanese actress Barbie Xu, who is best known for her role as Shan Cai in the TV series Meteor Garden, took time to praise Kalyeserye sweetheart Maine Mendoza following the show's dominanance in worldwide trends on social media every week. — RSJ, GMA News
