Beauty queens Kylie Verzosa, Nichole Manalo express gratitude over Bb. Pilipinas feats

After winning crowns from the prestigious Binibining Pilipinas 2016 pageant last Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum, Binibining Pilipinas International Kylie Versoza and Binibining Pilipinas Globe Nichole Marie Manalo took time to thank their family, friends, and supporters for being part of their journey.

In an Instagram post, Kylie—who also won special awards Face of Binibini, Binibining Manila Bulletin, and Binibining Jag—says that it took some time for the reality of her win to sink in.

One of the coronation night's crowd favorites also thanked her fans, who call themselves Kylie's Angels, as well as her mentors, family, and friends.

“I am still in awe. I can't believe it. I am ecstatic and overjoyed. I am so grateful to have this moment, it took sometime to sink in. Thank you to everyone who supported me, especially to my Angels, you were also the stars of the night. To my parents, you are the best. I love you!” the beauty queen said.

Kylie added, “I'll be representing the Philippines for Miss International 2016 and I promise I wont let you down.”

Meanwhile, Nichole expressed her deepest gratitude to everyone who offered their prayers, love, and support for her throughout the journey to her second Binibining Pilipinas pageant, which concluded with her taking home the Miss Globe crown.

“Hello everyone!!!!! Thank you for your prayers, love and support!!! Im soooo overwhelmed!! Im now ready to conquer the globe!!” she said.

The beauty queen, who came from a family of beauty pageant titlists, also won the Binibining Cream Silk special award.

She proceeded to offer her crown to her late father. “Daddy!!!!! Sabi ko sayo pagdalaw ko ulit may crown na ko, eh!! Yeeeey!!!” Nichole said.

Joining Nichole and Kylie in this year's line-up of Binibining Pilipinas titleholders are Maxine Medina as Binibining Pilipinas Universe, Jennifer Hammond as Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental, Joanna Deapara as Binibining Pilipinas Supranational, and Nicole Cordoves as Binibining Pilipinas Grand International.

Angelica Alita emerged as the beauty pageant's first runner-up, while Jehza Huelar is Binibining Pilipinas 2016's second runner-up. —Bianca Rose Dabu/KBK, GMA News
