AiAi Delas Alas, Joel Lamangan, Ricky Lee to work on comedy film

Comedienne AiAi delas Alas will star in a comedy movie, with the working title "Bes with Benefits."

"Nakakatuwa nga kasi madami ng producers ang nag-aattempt pumasok sa mainstream, ibig sabihin lumalaki na ang industriya natin," AiAi told reporters during the contract signing with Cineco Productions on Friday.

"Nag-eexpect ako ng magandang magandang pelikula, award hindi, siguro entertaining na pelikula, masaya... Happy na may puso," the actress said.

Multi-awarded director Joel Lamangan and writer Ricky Lee were present during the contract signing.

The two will work with AiAi in the comedy movie, which is set to shoot starting this March.

"Isang malaking karangalan ang makatrabaho si Ai Ai, first time sa isang proyekto ng Cineko, with Ricky Lee.. no less," Lamangan said.

"Noon ko pa gustong magkaroon ng AiAi," he added.

The Kapuso actress also gave a hint on what the film us about.

"Nanay ako dito pero madami kaming mag-kakasama, maraming friends, about friendships naman 'to," AiAi said. —NB, GMA News
