Mike Tan renews contract with GMA Network, remains a Kapuso star

Mike Tan remains a Kapuso after he renewed his contract with GMA Network on Thursday.

The 30-year-old marked his 13th year with the Kapuso network in a contract-signing attended by GMA Network executives.

Tan said he couldn't imagine leaving his home network after the various ups and downs he had endured.

"Ever since naman nandito sila for me eh. Never naman nila akong pinabayaan," he added.

Tan was the Ultimate Male Survivor in the second run of Starstruck in 2004.

He currently stars in the hit prime time show "Ika-6 na Utos" as Angelo.

Continuous learning

Tan said he continued to hone his craft even after over a decade in showbiz.

He said that his current role in "Ika-6 na Utos" was by far his most challenging.

Hindi kasing bigat nito," Tan said.

However, he said that all the hard work was worth it because viewers from all over the world tune in to the show. —NB, GMA News
