Julie Anne San Jose happy to sing for fans in online birthday concert on 'Playlist Live'

Asia's Pop Sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose couldn't contain her happiness and gratitude at the opportunity to sing for her fans at her online birthday concert, Unang Balita reported on Wednesday.

Julie Anne's concert was aired live online on facebook.com/gmanetwork at 4 p.m. on Monday.

The singer turned 23 and chose to celebrate simply with her ever supportive fans via the concert.

"Isa po ito sa mga ways para maibahagi ko 'yung ilan sa mga cover songs ko po. I'm very very happy din. Hopefully magkaroon pa ako ng isa pang chance na makapag-perform for 'Playlist,'" she said.

Her fans are celebrating her birthday every day the whole month of May.

"They're doing it every year. Grabe 'yung suporta talaga nila sa akin. Maraming maraming salamat! Sobrang thankful talaga ako and blessed to have them," she said.

Julie Anne said her birthday plans are simple — just time with the people she loves.

"I'd like to spend time with some of the people na close to my heart, special to me. Time out lang with family, close friends," she said.

Message to her 23-year-old self

Asked what she would advise her 23-year-old self, Julie Anne said: "Just be strong. Happiness lang talaga, and positive optimism in life."

"'Pag mahal mo ang sarili, wala kang dapat isipin, wala kang dapat i-worry," she added. —KG, GMA News
