Marian Rivera receives ‘Pillar of Hope’ award from Eton Int’l School
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera has been chosen as a "Pillar of Hope" awardee by Eton International School on Sunday.
Marian posted a photo of her on Instagram receiving the award at the Philippine International Convention Center for the school's celebration of the United Nations Day.
In the caption, she expressed her gratitude for being chosen as a recipient of the award.
The Super Ma'am star also shared her strong belief that women and the youth have the power to give hope.
She said she feels honored to be recognized as someone who symbolizes hope and who influences change.
According to the event invitation that was sent to Marian last October 16, she was awarded for being an advocate of developing the potential of the younger generation as change makers.
"You have been an advocate in unlocking the potential of young people as change makers and global citizens, and empower them to be as effective as possible in their future endeavor in creating a better world," the invitation read.
