Andrea Torres sees challenge in playing twins in Kapuso series ‘The Better Woman’

Actress Andrea Torres said that playing twins in the upcoming Kapuso Telebabad series “The Better Woman” is a challenging prospect, and that she is grateful for her co-star Derek Ramsay.

In the series, which premieres on Monday, Andrea plays Jasmine De Villa, who is happily married to Derek's Andrew—and Jasmine’s long-lost twin sister, Juliet Santos.

As soon as Juliet, a pole dancer, enters the married couple’s lives, temptation and a forbidden love ensue.

"Challenging at kakaiba talaga ang role ko sa soap," Andrea said during a media conference on Thursday.

However, she added, "I’m grateful na si Derek ang ka-partner ko dahil magaan siyang katrabaho at mabilis kaming naging kumportable sa isa’t isa.”

The television series, one of the most daring yet according to Derek and Andrea, is set to premiere on July 1, Monday, at 8:35 in the evening. — BM, GMA News
