How Kapuso stars spend X'mas

Family reunions don’t happen all the time whether or not you're a star. So when it comes to our favorite -- but very busy -- celebrities, family reunions are all the more special! And when Christmas rolls along, no one can take these stars away from their respective families! ‘Yung first family, mommy, daddy, mga kapatid. Rainier Castillo: Siyempre ‘yung Noche Buena and ‘yung after nun. Kris Bernal: Every Christmas kasi may family gathering kami. So reunion, nagkikita lahat: kainan at puyatan. Sa family ko kasi madalas pag nagkikita-kita, may nagbi-Bingo, nagto-Tong Its, nagma-Mahjong. Marami kami eh. So malaking pamilya. Brennan Espartinez: Together with the family, we dine in together, we go out together. Raymond Gutierrez: You know people, Filipinos, most especially, they’re known for celebrating Christmas talaga with their family. I think this season talaga is the time I get to bond with my family, I get to think about it and reflect on their likes, dislikes, and try to surprise them during Christmas day. For us, kasi, Christmas, we celebrate at home with all the house help, and they bring their families also, so it’s one big party at home. And when we open the gifts at midnight, I think for me, that’s the most exciting part; to see if they’re gonna like what I got them. Jay R: With the family, open gifts on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Edgar Allan Guzman: Ako, Noche Buena. So 12 ‘o clock, magkasama kayo ng pamilya mo, kumakain kayo. So ‘yun talaga ang pinakapaborito ko. You’ve read about the stars who want to just spend Christmas day with their families -- but there are also those who like doing stuff with their families on Christmas day. Mark Herras: Celebrating it with the family -- Noche Buena, then after midnight... Kasi noong bata ako, doon nauso mga ninong, ‘di ba? In the past years, ginagawa naming, after Noche Buena, kanya-kanya na. Maxene Magalona: Siyempre the opening of gifts! Kasi you see the faces ng mga kapatid ko, pag binuksan tapos 'yung surprise -- nakakaiyak na nakakatuwa. Na kahit once a year lang, tuwang-tuwa ka na. Everyone gets a gift, everyone is so happy to get one -- not just on the surface of just opening gifts, but deeper; it’s a time for the family to bond. I mean, well-bonded 'yung family naming, we don’t need any more time to bond; it’s just that ang saya lang na once a year we all get together just to open gifts and see each other’s happy faces. Ang saya-saya lang. Lovi Poe: Gusto ko ‘yung part before Christmas Eve, ‘yung naglulutuan ‘yung buong pamilya. And minsan ‘yung mom ko, busy siya, nagluluto, kami ng kapatid ko, nangungulit lang kami, or nanonood lang kami sa kwarto. The best time ever talaga pag ganoon. Antonio Aquitania: Actually ngayong naga-artista na ako, more on games. Katrina Halili: Noche Buena. ‘Yung nagkikita-kita lahat ng family. And then, there are those whose favorite traditions don’t just happen on Christmas Day! Maganda ‘yung ma-feel mo talaga ‘yung spirit ‘di ba? Until now I’m still doing it. Ang laki ng binibili kong turkey! Yung turkey uintil New Year na! Ang tagal, kasi ang laki!- iGMA.tv
