Katrina Halili wants to try other acting roles

Sexy young star Katrina Halili on Saturday said she can do more than portraying a villain, saying she is now more keen on accepting projects that would offer her a variety of acting roles. In an interview with Startalk, Katrina told hosts Lolit Solis and Joey de Leon she wanted to try other roles, although she said that it does not mean she does not want to be a contravida anymore. “E parang ibinibigay na lang sa akin palagi kontrabida. Gusto ko naman i-try yung iba. Kaya ko naman magpakita na meron naman akong ibang talent," Halili said. “Ok lang po kung comedy o drama. Wag muna po kontrabida pero hindi naman po ako nagbaba-bye sa kontrabida. Nandiyan lang naman po yun," she added. Halili said she wants to try doing a comedy project, which is different from the genre she is doing now. The young star earlier said she wanted to do a remake of Super Inday by Maricel Soriano – one of Halili’s favorites star. - GMANews.TV
