'Tadhana' to have special Lenten episode on March 18

What are your plans for this Lenten season? If you just want to relax and watch shows, then you're in luck as "Tadhana" will have a Lenten special presentation this Saturday on GMA starring Juancho Triviño, Thea Tolentino, and Dion Ignacio.

As seen on Lhar Santiago's "24 Oras" report, Dion will play a character named Peter, and Thea will play his love interest named Faith.

Speaking about her role on the drama series, Thea said, "Madaming problema na nangyayari sa buhay niya so medyo nawawalan siya ng faith kay God, faith sa mga taong nakapaligid sa kanya. Nawawalan siya ng love kahit sa sarili niyang family."

Dion said, "Nung nagkahiwalay kami, bale nagtuloy na ko dun sa pangarap kong maging pari."

"Ako naman -- hindi naman ako pari dito ngayon," said Juancho, laughing. "Kapag nagtuloy na si Peter magpari, si Joshua naman -- ako ang magiging kasintahan."

Juancho previously starred as Padre Salvi on the recently concluded TV series, "Maria Clara at Ibarra," which is coming to Netflix on April 14.

Juancho was known for his funny antics on and off set on "Maria Clara at Ibarra" like teasing co-star David Licauco and riding the LRT as his character.

For Holy Week, the cast also shared their plans. Thea plans to go to the beach and go on family outings while Dion may just exercise for new shows since he also just came back from Hong Kong.

For his Holy Week plans, Juancho, who is married to Joyce Pring, said, "Stay put lang sa bahay as of now dahil nga we have to take care of Joyce and syempre, our upcoming baby."

Joyce and Juancho wed in February 2020. The couple has a son named Liam, and they are currently expecting a daughter.
