Dingdong Dantes on Marian Rivera’s Movie Actress of the Year award: ‘She’s not just acting, she’s winning hearts’

Dingdong Dantes took to social media to flex Marian Rivera’s acting award for her role in “Rewind.”

On his Instagram account, Dingdong posted a photo of his wife receiving her Movie Actress of the Year award at the 5th edition of the Village Pipol Choice Awards.

“She’s not just acting, she’s winning hearts. Congratulations to my wife — excited for the many things coming your way,” Dingdong wrote in the caption.

“Love you,” Marian commented with a heart symbol.

Marian was among the Kapuso stars recognized at the recent awards event.

GMA Network also reigned victorious as the TV Station of the Year, while "Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap" won TV Series of the Year in the Afternoon category.

VP Choice Awards is an annual awarding event organized and hosted by Village Pipol magazine. Winners were decided by online voters and the magazine's editorial team.

Meanwhile, “Rewind” has become the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time in Philippine domestic sales. It is currently available on Netflix.

Marian is also currently starring in her comeback series, “My Guardian Alien.”
