Does Jeric Raval have any interest in entering politics?

On Tuesday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the veteran action star was asked about the perception that showbiz personalities have lost their appeal after several actors failed to secure seats in the last election.

"Hindi naman. Laging kailangan timing. Right timing," Jeric said.

When asked if he was ever encouraged to run for public office, Jeric admitted that he was approached during the previous election.

"Noong nakaraang halalan, may lumalapit sa akin. Pero hindi ako interesado," he said.

Jeric explained that part of his hesitation comes from the divisive nature of politics.

"Kabuti-buti ngang ang nagagalit sa akin, nabibilang ko lang sa daliri ko. Kapag tumakbo ako, nanalo ako, kahit isang milyon pa 'yung daliri mo, kulang pa 'yan. Daming magagalit sa 'yo," he said.

When Tito Boy suggested that perhaps he was content with his current life, Jeric agreed.
