Maxie Andreison apologizes for hitting woman in resurfaced video

Maxie Andreison has apologized for slapping and kicking a woman in an old video that resurfaced recently.

In an Instagram Live video reposted by the fan page Drag Scene PH on X, Maxie said she and the parties involved had already apologized to each other and moved on from what happened.

"Sana lang three years ago mas na-handle ko 'yung sitwasyon nang mas matalino, na mas kalmado. Sana mas napalawak ko pa 'yung utak ko," the drag artist said.

"Hindi kasi tama talaga na manakit. Hindi siya tama kahit saang aspeto. Hindi talaga ako katanggol-tanggol that time," Maxie added.

Maxie added that there are people guiding her now. She also said she doesn't want that incident to happen again, that she is trying to change, and that she has learned a lot after it.

"Ayoko nang maulit 'yun, pasensya na," she said. "Ang dami ko nang nagawang kasalanan ngayong Pride. Sana sa susunod na Live ko, 'di na 'ko nag-so-sorry, sana last na sorry ko 'to sa inyo."

Maxie said she knew the video would spread eventually and that it would be talked about.

"Hindi ako nandito para idepensahan sarili ko dahil mali talaga 'yun. Mali talaga 'ko at ayoko nang maulit 'yun. Ayoko nang maging ganun ulit," the drag artist said.

To end the video, Maxie apologized again for disappointing her supporters.

In the viral video, Maxie and a companion were seen having a confrontation with a woman. Her companion slapped the woman and Maxie also slapped and kicked her in the face.

Maxie won "Drag Race Philippines" in 2024. She has since established a music career and was one of the performers of this year's LoveL4ban.
