PEP: Heart talks about her failed relationship with Echo

Actress Heart Evangelista can now look back objectively when talking about her failed relationship with Jericho Rosales. On Tuesday’s (December 8) press conference of Regal Entertainment's Metro Manila Film Festival entry Mano Po 6: My Mother's Love held at the Imperial Palace Suites in Quezon City, Heart stressed that even though the relationship ended bitterly there were still a lot of pleasant memories worth rekindling. "My time with him was a good experience. It was good. It's just that it was the wrong time and we were just so in love that we didn't know how to express and explain it in a manner that they would [Heart's parents] understand. We didn't want to lose each other that's why we fought. But it wasn't bad, it was just the wrong time," she said. Although no friendship has blossomed between the two former lovers following the separation, Heart maintained that there's mutual respect existing even without the need for them to verbally express it to each other. "We're on the stage where we're living our lives. We appreciate each other from a distance I guess. But there is no more anger and we've forgiven each other," confessed the chinita actress who just recently signed a three-picture deal with Regal.

"Hirap din kasi ng sitwasyon, e. Mahal na mahal ko rin family ko and there was a time na nasaktan ko sila. They say naman na if you guys are really meant to be together there's an invisible string attached to your pinkie that no matter where time will take you darating din 'yong time na 'yon. Kapag dumating na 'yong time na 'yon then that's a go. Pero as of now I am not thinking of it... Hindi ko masasabi and ayokong pilitin," Heart explained. - Bong Godinez, PEP
