Miss Saigon dito sa Pilipinas, sa November 19 to 22, para sa muling pagbubukas nito sa London. Kaugnay ng mga kaganapang ito sa teatro ay may isang award-giving body na magbibigay-pugay sa mga pinakamahuhusayâang BroadwayWorld Philippines Awards. Nitong Miyerkules, November 7, sa Facebook page ni Oliver Oliveros, isang Pinoy na nagtatrabaho sa BroadwayWorld New York, ay inanunsiyo ang mga nominado sa BroadwayWorld Philippines Awards. Si Oliver ay dating PR manager ng Stages Productions at kasalukuyang regional site editor ng BroadwayWorld para sa Pilipinas. Mayroong 25 na kategorya ang BroadwayWorld Philippines Awards na sumakop sa mga itinanghal na theater plays and musicals mula October 2011 hanggang September 2012. Ang BroadwayWorld.com ay isang theater news website sa United States, United Kingdom, at 20 pang bansa. Naghahanda na sila para sa BWW Awards na sabay-sabay na gaganapin sa lahat ng mga bansang kinasasaklawan nila, kasama na ang Pilipinas.
