Isabelle Daza and five random things that matter to her

Isabelle Daza is busy living life to the fullest.

Apart from her daily hosting stint on Eat Bulaga! and working on two movie projects, she’s religiously training for her upcoming half-Ironman triathlon in Hawaii.

“Ang itim-itim ko na nga… but it’s something I like doing.”

So every week, she makes it a point to run, bike, and swim.

“Exercise is very much part of my life,” she told the press attending her launch as the latest endorser of Avon Fashions Intimate apparel on April 29.

Even when she’s on vacation, “Lagi akong nagwo-workout, hindi iyan natatanggal. But more than getting fit, I want to maintain my weight and be healthy.”

Her motivation: "Kasi gusto kong kumain nang marami.”

The 5’7” beauty is a “certified rice eater.”

In a previous interview with YES! Magazine, she remarked, "Hindi ko kayang mag-diet," plus, there’s always the conscious effort to eat healthy.

She recently made an exception.

When she posed for the catalogue and marketing materials of Avon, she imposed a “no-carbohydrates” diet on herself for two weeks.

Belle (her nickname) related, “That was so hard for me kasi malakas akong kumain. Malakas akong mag-workout pero mas malakas akong kumain. That was a challenge!”

Speaking of her endorsement, she was thrilled about it because “it’s really about confidence and empowerment.”

Belle related her reaction when she learned about the offer, “Siyempre, I was so kilig. Talagang hindi ako makapaniwala... because I love to be associated with it because it's a brand for women.

“More than, you know, nagpapa-sexy, it's more of giving women confidence... women empowerment.

“And it's also a direct-selling company so tinutulungan niya ang mga mini-entrepreneurs to have a small business.”

Aside from getting fit, eating healthy, and empowering women, “vacation” is another thing that matters to Belle.

Whenever she has the time, she travels “para hindi ma-burnout.”

Last Holy Week, she went to Australia. A European trip with her closest friends is also in the offing.

Smiling, she added, “Sana payagan…”

The fifth must-have item on her list is beauty-related.

After removing her make-up, she never misses “putting on a special moisturizer.”

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked, “Is it especially-formulated for your skin?”

Isabelle replied, “It's a bit pricey, but then, it's your skin.”Pep.ph
