Newcomer Ericka Villongco breaks silence about breakup with James Reid

 
Lumantad na sa publiko ang naging girlfriend ng sikat na young actor na si James Reid.
Ito ay si Ericka Villongco, isang baguhang singer-actress na kasama sa cast ng indie film na Relaks, It’s Just Pag-ibig.

Si Ericka ay naging girlfriend ni James bago pa sumikat ang tambalan ng young actor kay Nadine Lustre.

Sabi ni Ericka sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), sa presscon ng Relaks, It’s Just Pag-ibig nitong Huwebes ng gabi, October 30, na “It’s actually my first time to break my silence.

“Nung nag-break kami last March, officially, it was hard having a lot of bashers and keeping quiet of our relationship, because I did not want to interfere with his movie.

“At the same time, I wish I was there for him.”

Mahigit tatlong taon daw ang itinagal ng kanilang relasyon.

“Three in a half years kami. We were very in love.

“A lot of people saw our relationship bloom, marami ang humanga.

“Even though it wasn’t onscreen or anything, but a lot of people love us together.”

Hindi man pinangalanan ni James si Ericka sa kanyang interviews noon, sinabi nito na talagang minahal niya ang ex-girlfriend sa kabila ng mas pinili niya ang gumagandang career.

Sinabi naman ni Ericka na minahal din niya ang ex-boyfriend.

“Siyempre, I get very emotional when I talk about it.

“I love him, our love was one of a kind… I cannot explain.

“We spent almost every day together. I can’t explain love.”

Naka-move on na ba siya sa breakup nila ni James?

Sagot ni Ericka, “It’s been almost been five months, I can say I’m much happier now.

“The only regret is that I wish that we were able to end civilly or like friends.    

“It’s hard, kasi every day in social media, I see his name all over, that's what makes it hard.

“I wish that we had that closure. I wish we were able to talk. I wish I was also able to say my side of the story.

“Kasi this is the first time I’m telling my side.

“Siyempre, nandun pa rin.

“We can’t never unlove a person, that’s what I believe.

“I still care for him.”

Inamin din ni Ericka na hindi sila nagkausap nang maayos ni James nang magdesisyon silang maghiwalay.
 
Nanggaling kay James na siya ang nag-initiate ng breakup nila ni Ericka. Naiintindihan naman daw ni Ericka ang naging desisyon ng ex-boyfriend.
 
“Siyempre, at first, very emotional, but I accepted it because I know he’s doing it not for himself, but he’s doing it for his family.
 
“He never wanted the fame, he never wanted the attention. He’s a very simple guy.
 
“He’s doing it for his family, for his dad.”

Bagamat sinabi ni Ericka na walang third party sa breakup nila, kinontra niya ang sinabi ni James na “bad breakup” ang nangyari sa kanila.

Sabi niya, “Hindi naman bad breakup na nagsigawan kami, but it was not good in a way na sana we were happy.

“We had this fantasy where we just want to end things good, so in the end, we can save it.   

“I know what he tells the press also, which is the truth.

“James is very honest, he never lies, he’s very down to earth.

“Very loyal and faithful.”

Sa kabila ng kinahinatnan ng kanilang relasyon, bukas pa rin daw si Ericka sa posibilidad na magkabalikan sila ni James.

“It’s very personal, but James and I always had this fantasy to ourselves that in the future, we will still end up together.

"I would say he’s my soulmate, maybe he thinks the same of me, but that’s why he wanted to save it.
