Aiza Seguerra shares thoughts on pro-LGBT billboard

“Yes, I saw and I think I posted something about it,” simula ni Aiza nang tanungin kung nakita niya ang billboard ng Bench.
“I applaud Bench for being so bold... well [but] who did it?” tanong ni Aiza, pagtukoy sa pagpinta ng itim na pintura para matakpan ang holding hands ng dalawang lalaki sa billboard.
“Kasi dun ako [concerned]. I think I saw an interview from the Ad Board or whatever na sinabi naman nila, pinayagan naman nila [ang billboard], so I don't know."
“So para sa 'kin, parang it only goes to show that there are a lot of bigots and a lot of people who still discriminate. Kasi, what's so wrong about that? Just because they're holding hands, tatakpan n'yo just because they're both guys?"
Pero ito, people loving each other, tatakpan niyo? Why? Just because they're both guys?” buwelta ng singer.
NEED FOR RESPECT.
We believe in so many different things and that's fine. If you don't agree with same-sex relationship, that's fine."
“But learn how to respect as much as we respect your opinion about us. “Respect ours, too. Respect our stand, respect that we are fighting to be seen as equal sa inyo. Respect that also."
Don't shove it also sa mukha namin na, 'Mali kayo, mali kayo!' Huwag.
“So recognize each other's differences, but [if you] learn how to respect that, siguro we'll live better.” -- Bernie V. Franco, PEP
