Toni Gonzaga on Binibining Pilipinas hosting: 'I was instructed to make it fun, ease tension'

Xian Lim and Toni Gonzaga hosted the pageant night. Jessica Bartolome

“There's no point of looking back and talk about it over and over again.”

Bilang panimula, sinabi ng Kapamilya TV host-actress, “This will be the first and the last time I will talk about this kasi noong Sunday pa po ito.

“We have all moved on from it.

“'Tapos na po yung coronation night and we have already declared the winners.”

Pero seryoso niyang dadag, “I'm humbly asking for apology kung I have offended, I have maligned or I have hurt anyone of you.”

Ngunit diin ni Toni, “It was never my intention.

"Prior to the show, I was instructed to make the show fun, light, and ease the tension, especially during the Q&A portion.

“So, it was never my intention, again, it was instructed for the host that way—to make it lively and fun, of course, in the spirit of the celebration ng Binibining Pilipinas coronation night.” —PEP
