Ilang Kapuso stars at programa, wagi sa 46th Box Office Entertainment Awards


Eight Kapuso stars won in different categories at the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation (GMMSF) Box-Office Entertainment Awards given at Solaire Resorts and Casino in Pasay City last Sunday, June 14.
 
The Half Sisters actor Andre Paras has starred in numerous films and TV dramas, and every year he improves in his craft. Last year, he was the “Best New Male Personality.” This year, he bagged the “Most Promising Male Star” award.
 
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez is one of the Philippines’ best-selling artist of all time. She took home the “Female Concert Performer of the Year” last night.
 
Are you familiar with the Cha-Cha dance? Child star and TV personality Ryzza Mae Dizon popularized it with her own version. No wonder she is the “Most Popular Female Child Performer."
 
Various TV shows such as Wish Ko Lang (News and Public Affairs), Celebrity Bluff (Game Show) and Eat Bulaga (Musical Variety / Noontime and Primetime) won as the “Most Popular TV Program” in their respective categories. 
 
Special awards were also given in the ceremony for actress Jennylyn Mercado for contributing as a lead actor in “English Only, Please” which won as the “Breakthrough Box Office Indie Film of the Year.”
 
One of the biggest awards went to Eat Bulaga's very own Bossing—Vic Sotto—who was the first recipient of the Corazon Mendoza Samaniego Lifetime Achievement Award.” --  For the full story, visit PEP.
