Marian Rivera and Lovi Poe back on good terms?

In a rare moment, Marian Rivera and Lovi Poe were spotted exchanging what seemed to be a friendly kiss on the cheek at the YES! 15th anniversary party at Crowne Plaza Hotel last Monday night, July 27.

 

According to the Instagram post of YES! Magazine, Lovi and her boyfriend Rocco Nacino made an effort to say hello and make beso with Marian inside the grand ballroom.

 

As it happened, Marian was having dinner with husband Dingdong Dantes, who previously worked opposite Lovi in the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles and the 2014 GMA primetime series Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real.

Lovi, on the other hand, was accompanied by boyfriend Rocco Nacino who also stopped by Marian and Dingdong’s table in a brief exchange of pleasantries.

 

It can be recalled that Lovi supposedly got caught up in the falling out between Marian and fellow Kapuso star Heart Evangelista while filming Temptation Island in 2011. The movie was topbilled by all three together with Solenn Heussaff and Rufa Mae Quinto.

 

Since then, there have been reports about snubbing incidents between Marian and Lovi in the few instances that they bumped into each other.

 

But in Philippine Entertainment Portal’s (PEP.ph) August 2014 report, Lovi clarified that she’s not the type of person who get into fights.

 

She also refused to further comment on queries about Marian and Heart’s alleged rift, adding that she respects the former despite the issues being thrown at them.

 

When asked if she’s open to reconciliation with Marian, Lovi replied in the same interview with PEP: “I don’t know, kasi parang there’s nothing to ano, e.

 

“Kasi, in the first place, I didn’t feel anything…

 

“I don’t think there was a problem, sa akin, on my side.”

 

She added, “Basta ako, I respect her [Marian] naman, e. There’s no problem about that.”
