Kim Domingo reacts to 'pantasya ng bayan' label

Kim Domingo is grateful to be included in GMA-7's new primetime series Juan Happy Love Story.

At the press conference of the show held recently, the Bubble Gang member said she feels nervous about doing more serious acting.

'Siyempre, nandoon pa rin po ang kaba kasi si Heart Evangelista and Dennis Trillo.

'At saka, siyempre, baguhan pa rin po ako rito sa industriya, so nandun pa rin po ang kaba.

'Pero habang tumatagal, medyo nasasanay na rin naman po.'

In Bubble Gang, Kim usually portrays a sexy character in the show's comedy skits.

This is somehow related to her character as Agatha in Juan Happy Love Story, where she plays the seductive third party in Heart and Dennis team up.

Kim doesn't mind being this sexy in a teleserye. In fact, she said, 'Actually, sanay na po ako. Sanay na po ako doon kasi doon na ako nakilala.'

She said she won't mind if viewers would hate her for being a kontrabida to the Dennis-Heart love team.

Kim explained, 'Ako po kasi, naranasan ko na po kasi talaga ang ma-bash.

'Pero sa akin now, hindi ko na lang din po pinapatulan as long as alam ko naman po sa sarili ko kung ano 'yong totoo.

'Alam ko naman po na hindi naman po totoo ang sinasabi nila, so di ko na lang po pinapansin.'

Kim was also asked if she's ready to be called 'pantasya ng bayan' because of her sexy role.

She replied with a smile, 'Nasa kanila na po 'yon. Wala namang pong problema doon kasi trabaho lang naman.' -- For the full story, visit PEP.
